GUALDO CATTANEO – PARCO ACQUAROSSA RESTAURANT
Protecting the past in the present and bringing it into the future. This mission was accomplished by Monia Angelelli and her father Francesco whose farm, with nearby inn and grounds of 80 hectares, is connected to Ponte di Ferro along the road that comes down from Gualdo Cattaneo and where miners extracted brown coal after WWI. This unique facility rose up in a former mine from 1926 where local products, history and tradition meet with the world of airplanes, tractors and engines. Thanks to the Angelelli family, it can all be found right here: in addition to a restaurant and typical Umbrian products there’s the Sagrantino airstrip and train, in addition to the unique Farm Tractor Museum.
