Frantoio Decimi is located in Umbria, in Bettona, on the slopes of the Martani Hills. Always considered one of the best Italian oil mills, award-winning not only for the high quality of the product, but also for the commitment to promote the culture of extra virgin olive oil, it is one of the most representative of Umbria for quality oil, through the work and love that Graziano Decimi and his family put into the art of “making oil” every day. An oil that is an expression of the earth and the story of an agricultural philosophy, made of love, passion, knowledge, technique and human component.
The Decimi Company covers an area of about 21 hectares, is located in the Municipality of Bettona, between the ancient Abbey of S. Felice a Giano dell’Umbria and the medieval village of Collemancio di Cannara, at an altitude between 300 and 450 meters above sea level. Due to the southern exposure of the olive groves that are always sunny and the conformation of the stony and sloping soil that guarantees the plant and the fruit the right drainage and maturation, the pedoclimatic conditions of the olive groves from which Olio Decimi is born, are optimal for obtaining a product with organoleptic characteristics of significantly higher quality than the standards.
Graziano Decimi chose in adulthood to be an olive grower and he did it with a very specific idea, the one of creating a company where the bond between the earth, man and machine was indissoluble and indispensable in order to translate the essence of the fruits coming exclusively from its olive groves, in the prestigious selection of Decimi Oil.
An artisanal process where technology and experimentation come together to innovate the manufacturing process, but where the hand and experience of the miller remain to make the difference in producing high quality oils by extracting, naturally and mechanically, from every single “Olive” .
