FRANCESCA DE MAI, ILLUSTRATOR - FOLIGNO

I live and work in Foligno and in the Umbrian tranquility I invent ways of existing through the creation of images:
between unique pieces, small series and original communication solutions.
I create works where the design is Protagonist, poised between irony and sacredness, mixing ancient techniques with computer graphics .
I studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Perugia, with Sauro Cardinali. I founded and was part of the cultural association C.A.L.M.A.
From 2007 to 2014 I dedicated myself to the experimental project of paper self-productions SEMISERIES – the images that save the world in 2015 I was on tour with Cristina Donà realizing self-produced merchandising.
