At the Tini e Del Sero oil mill you will be welcomed by Josephine, the owner’s daughter, who is passionate about farming and animals. You will be invited into the large tasting room and Josephine will be happy to light the beautiful fireplace and prepare a bruschetta toasted garlic bread so you can taste the farm’s very own DOP certified olive oil from the Martani Hills. Located in the region of Giano dell’Umbria, in a quiet and isolated place directly at the foot of the Martani Mountains, the Tini and del Sero oil mill is surrounded by 8000 olive trees, planted mostly with the San Felice variety, which perfectly characterizes the Dop oil of the Martani Hills. Next to the farm you’ll find the “Pian della Noce” sport fishing lake, peacefully populated with hundreds of trout and carp, also surrounded by olive trees as far as the eye can see. If all this were not enough to surprise you, just look around and catch a glimpse of the iridescent blue and “oil” green of the tails of the many peacocks that live under Josephine’s care.
