Trampolini oil mill has been located for 800 years, at the gates of the city of Perugia, near the church of San Bevignate, the largest Templar church in Europe. The oil mill, which by choice of the Trampolini family has never been moved from the historic center, overlooks a garden / olive grove with secular olive trees of the sweet agogia variety planted by Benedictine monks of the Abbey of San Pietro between 1500 and 1600.
Inside, after passing the suggestive Templar entrance, a latest generation oil mill works and it mills about 7,000 quintals of olives every year, producing extra virgin olive oil. Bio, monocultivar Moraiolo, Dolce Agogia, Leccino, Frantoio, Nocellara and Peranzana. Next to the oil mill, the large tasting room is also a small company museum, with a collection of old photos, tools and implements, such as ancient measures, jars, funnels, old hand-woven fiscoli, which testify to the bond of the Trampolini family to the production of extra virgin olive oil and olive cultivation.
