Would there be religion without churches? And artists without art academies? Considering the story of Vittorio Paris, the answer appears to be yes. He was not part of the art world and never followed a “traditional” artistic path, he was literally chosen by art, and not vice versa, when he was already over 40 and had no past experience. Today he is a renowned painter and sculptor with an original flair and naïf style whose name echoes beyond Trevi.
